European and American
Clothing Sizes
At the request of our surfers we are adding this guide to European and
American clothing sizes. We hope you find it useful. Please note, however,
that in the United States there's no real standard for sizing clothes,
and the more expensive the clothes are, the smaller the sizes, ie, a
size 10 at K-Mart is probably the equivalent of a size 8 or 6 at Ralph
Lauren. (As in, "you can never be too rich or too thin...")
More expensive clothes tend to be cut more generously for their sizes,
probably so the snooty customers can waltz into the store, saying "Please
show me the size 6s...." Then there are other vendors, such as
Lands End, who are very truthful in their size charts which makes it
a lot easier for their custoemers.

velikosti oblačil
Na željo nekaterih obiskovalcev smo pripravili to rubriko o ameriških
in evropskih velikostih oblačil. Upamo, da Vam bo v veliko pomoč. Opozarjamo
Vas, da so navedene velikosti in ekvivalenti zgolj približni, saj vsak
proizvajalec uporablja svoje standarde v zvezi z določitvijo posamezne
številke (v Ameriki npr obstaja razlika med isto številko med K-Mart
in Ralph Lauren - v Evropi pa obstaja razlika v posameznih velikostih
že med posameznimi državami...). Kakorkoli že, še najbolje je, da vsako
posamezno velikost preverite na samem mestu nakupa, ob pomerjanju oblačil.
Upamo pa, da bo v prihodnjosti tudi na tem področju prišlo do enotne
standardizacije...
