about the evening creation for Miss Živa Vadnov:
Colour: - spring gold-green Length: floor length, train at the back (approx. 30 centimeters long) Sleeves: sleeveless Full skirts or fitting skirts: The upper part is fitting dress, the lower part is full skirts. Any adornments: glass pearls, glass stonelets, leaves The upper part is bound by the green ribbons around the neck and at the back. Shoulders, arms and back are bare. The lower part: the skirt falls in elegant gold-green folds and bell-like widens into a short train. In front, under the hem of the dress gold frill tulle shows out. Hand-sewn glass stonelets sparkle in gold, orange, and
green colour shades. They symbolize spring flowers, sunbeams, and droplets
of morning dew on a spider’s-web. The final image radiates fluidity, ethereality, charm, and youth thus emphasizing playfulness and youth of Miss Živa Vadnov. |

IDEA
The name of Miss Slovenia – Živa – in our language signifies the symbol of life. It represents an optimistic person, full of joy and spirit. This was the staring-point of my creation referring
to all living beings – to nature. It is spring which represents the beginning of
a new life cycle every year. My creation represents Živa as a fairy
– the fairy tale being of nature who while wandering in the forests,
meadows, vales and hills every spring arouses nature, reawakens life.
It appears tender and sweet, but it also possesses incredible power.
